Q. Do I have to be naked?
A. Not at all. Your comfort throughout the process is the most important thing. This is an empowering moment and we hope that you feel complete pride in your body, however you choose to display it.
Q. Is the scanner safe?
A. Our scanning technology is completely safe for both mother and child. It operates using near-infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye, and complies with Class 1 laser safety standards—the highest level of laser safety classification.
Q. Can you come to my home to scan me?
A. We'd love to be able to visit our customers in their homes. We have a catchment area that we are able to service (London & South Essex).
Please send us a general enquiry confirming your location to discuss and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
Q. What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
A. Get excited to make some memories and view your bump in all of its glory!
Bring along a robe / dressing-gown to put on between scans. Please wear flat-laying knickers in a non-shiny material.
Q. Do I have to be pregnant to be suitable for a 3D Sculpture of myself?
A. Nope! Everyone is welcome and deserves the opportunity to celebrate their wonderful bodies. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss a specific scanning request.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to scan pets but watch this space!
Q. How long does the process take?
A. Our appointment will last for approximately 1 hour. We'll start with a 15 - 20 minute welcome & consultation chat.
20 minutes for the scanning itself.
We'll then wrap up and confirm next steps.
Q. Can I bring someone along with me?
A. Yes, of course! It's a really special moment and a special someone that you would like to share that with is welcome to come.
Q. How do I do I confirm the size and finish I want for my sculpture?
A. On the day of your scan, you can take a look at our samples in person and make a decision then.
Q. What happens to the 3D files of me once my sculpture has been made?
A. We'll archive your files and keep them safe for 12 months. We keep them just incase you want another print made from your original scan or to replace a lost or damaged one.
After those 12 months, your files will be deleted. If you would rather they are immediately deleted, please contact us in writing to make this request.
